Trekking in Adaba-Dodola is offered at a very reasonable price.

All payments have to be made directly to the service provider. Your guide will organise this for you.

Basic rates in Birr (exchange rate about 9 Birr per US$) are listed in the table below. In every camp a list is on display which specifies possible price deductions. Such deductions are to encourage service providers to keep or improve the standard of the services. We would ask all visitors to apply such deductions if they feel the service they receive is not adequate. This will also benefit the next visitors. On the other hand, service providers will appreciate tips if you are particularly happy with the service they have given to you.

Rates for horse riding

Riding horse or packhorse	20 birr per day
Overnight stay in the lodge	35 birr per night and person
Tent pitching including use of facilities (except bed)	15 birr per night and person
Use of facilities without overnight stay	5 birr per person
Hot shower	5 birr per person
Guarding of car at forest edge	20 birr per vehicle for up to 24 hours
Forest entrance fee	25 birr per group and 10 for single

In general visitors can expect to pay around than US $15 per person per day, depending on the size of the group and the facilities used.
